Managing Director, 2013 – present

In January 2013, I established Blackbox Solutions, a new technology company providing network print, copy and fax document solutions and Information Technology services to businesses across London and the South East.

To meet growing demand and accommodate its expanding team, Blackbox Solutions has recently completed a move to a new head office in Maidstone, providing access to a thriving local economy, a skilled workforce and a strong strategic location.

Balreed Digitec Ltd

Sales Director / Shareholder, November 2003 – November 2012

I started my own business, Balreed Digitec Ltd, in 2002 and over a nine year period grew the company from zero to £18 million turnover per annum. As Sales Director I personally averaged £1.2 million of business per annum, achieving £4 million of new business during each of my last three years at the company.

IKON Office Solutions

Sales Director, May 1995 – September 2003

I joined IKON Office Solutions, a large independent American document management services provider, as a trainee in 1995 and worked my way up to become Sales Director after just five years. I held the position of Sales Directors for three years, during which time I established myself as one of the most successful Sales Director in the company.

As Sales Director I was responsible for a team of 25 sales and admin staff and achieved a turnover of in excess of £3.6 million. When I stepped into this position, the South East Division was ranked 17^th out of 18 divisions. I took the division to rank 3^rd in the UK in just one year and sustained this position until I left the company two years later.
